FLOWERY BRANCH, Georgia (Ticker) -- The Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday signed veteran offensive tackle Wayne Gandy.
A 15-year veteran, Gandy played the first five games for the Falcons last season before missing the remainder of the campaign with a knee injury. The 6-4, 308-pounder, a first-round pick by the St. Louis Rams in 1994, has played in 212 career games and started every contest he appeared in from 1995-2007.
The Falcons on Wednesday also signed defensive tackle J'Vonne Parker to the practice squad while releasing tight end Jason Rader and defensive end Sean Conover from the practice squad.
