JACKSONVILLE, Florida (Ticker) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday placed guard Chris Naeole on injured reserve with a broken hand.
Naeole suffered the injury during pregame warm-ups before Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. The 12-year veteran had recently been activated, coming back from a torn quadriceps tendon that had sidelined him since last November.
Tutan Reyes will likely keep the starting job at right guard.
The 33-year-old Naeole is the third veteran guard for the Jaguars to suffer a season-ending injury this season. Mo Williams is out with a biceps injury and Vince Manuwai is sidelined with a knee injury.
In a corresponding move, the Jaguars signed rookie lineman Drew Miller off the practice squad. Jacksonville also signed offensive tackle Stefan Rogers to the practice squad.
