ASHBURN, Virginia (Ticker) -- Washington Redskins receiver Santana Moss will be a game-time decision for Monday night's contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers because of a groin injury.
Redskins coach Jim Zorn made the announcement Friday after Moss was officially listed as questionable on the injury report.
Moss, who leads Washington with 42 catches for 658 yards and five touchdowns this season, has not practiced this week.
"Santana is coming right along," Zorn said. "He has to get rid of some of his soreness. We have Saturday and Sunday to get him ready, so we'll just continue to progress."
The 29-year-old Moss was a major factor in Sunday's 25-17 triumph over the Detroit Lions. He made nine catches for 140 yards and a score and also returned a punt for a touchdown.
James Thrash or rookie Devin Thomas would start in Moss' place if he is inactive Monday.
