KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Ticker) -- Kansas City Chiefs running back Kolby Smith suffered a sprained knee in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Smith sustained the injury with 7:43 remaining in the first half. The second-year pro was helped off the field before being carted to the locker room. His return is questionable.
Smith was replacing Larry Johnson, who was inactive due to repeated off-field problems. Smith had 10 carries for 46 yards and scored on a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter Sunday.
