Browns G Steinbach, FB Vickers doubtful
Nov 5, 2008 - 10:11 PM BEREA, Ohio (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Browns could be without two starters for Thursday night's game against the Denver Broncos.Guard Eric Steinbach and fullback Lawrence Vickers were both listed as doubtful by the team Wednesday.
Steinbach suffered a pulled muscle in the rib area during last weekend's 37-27 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Vickers will miss his second straight game with an ankle injury.
Charles Ali likely will make his second straight start at fullback.
The Browns also have other injury concerns. Defensive tackles Shaun Rogers and Corey Williams are both listed as questionable, as is backup tight end Darnell Dinkins.
Thursday's game is a must-win for the Browns (3-5), who trail the Pittsburgh Steelers by three games in the AFC North and have a worse record than nine other teams in the conference.
