Injury-riddled Bills place CB Youboty on IR
Nov 7, 2008 - 9:33 PM ORCHARD PARK, New York (Ticker) -- The Buffalo Bills on Friday placed cornerback Ashton Youboty on injured reserve.The Bills will also be without four starters for Sunday's contest against the rival New England Patriots. Safety Donte Whitner, defensive end Aaron Schobel, receiver Josh Reed and guard Brad Butler have all been ruled out of the key AFC East matchup.
Buffalo (5-3) is currently tied with the Patriots and New York Jets atop the division standings.
Youboty has missed the last three games with a foot injury and will now be sidelined for the remainder of the season. Used mainly as a nickel back, Youboty will be replaced by rookie Leodis McKelvin and Reggie Corner.
The 24-year-old Youboty has made 20 tackles and one sack with a forced fumble this season.
The Bills also signed linebacker Teddy Lehman.
