Roethlisberger probable, Parker doubtful for Steelers

Nov 7, 2008 - 10:35 PM PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- Ben Roethlisberger should be on the field when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Indianapolis Colts Sunday, but he will be without some of his most valuable weapons.

The Steelers' quarterback, who participated fully in practice Friday, is listed as probable. He suffered an injury to his right shoulder during Monday's 23-6 victory over the Washington Redskins and was replaced by Byron Leftwich.

The fifth-year signal caller has been knocked around in recent weeks, including five sacks two weeks ago against New York and three more against Washington.

Running back Willie Parker, who returned to action last week for the first time in four games, reportedly is out for the matchup with Indianapolis. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported late Thursday that Parker will miss the game and Mewelde Moore will start in his place.

Tight end Heath Miller also is out for Sunday's contest after spraining his right ankle against the Redskins.
