Patriots LB Mayo leaves game
Nov 14, 2008 - 2:04 AM FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- New England Patriots rookie linebacker Jerod Mayo left Thursday's game against the New York Jets with an undisclosed injury.Mayo left the field under his own power and went to the locker room with six seconds left in the first quarter. It is unknown if he will return.
The injury to Mayo is the latest in a mounting total for New England, which already was playing without linebacker Adalius Thomas and defensive end Ty Warren.
