Patriots place CB Wheatley on IR
Nov 17, 2008 - 9:34 PM FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- New England Patriots rookie cornerback Terrence Wheatley will miss the remainder of the season with a wrist injury, the team announced Monday.A second-round pick, Wheatley played in six games with one start, recording two solo tackles and two passes defensed.
To take Wheatley's roster spot, the Patriots signed tight end Tyson DeVree from the practice squad.
