Steelers WR Holmes leaves game

Nov 21, 2008 - 3:27 AM PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes left Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a head injury.

His return is questionable.

Holmes caught a 6-yard pass from Ben Roethlisberger with 8:59 left in the third quarter and was promptly drilled by safety Chris Crocker.

The third-year pro was woozy, but walked off the field under his own power. Holmes caught five passes for 84 yards before departing.
