FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- New England Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins due to a forearm injury.

Thomas did not practice for the second straight week. He also sat out New England's 34-31 loss to the New York Jets on November 13.

According to multiple media reports, Thomas suffered a broken left forearm against the Buffalo Bills on November 9, although the team has not disclosed the nature of the injury.

Asked if Thomas was done for the season earlier this week, coach Bill Belichick said: "We will see."

Thomas, 31, has recorded 34 tackles and is second on the team with five sacks this season.
