Chargers sign DE Grennan, release S Battle

Nov 22, 2008 - 9:59 PM SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- The San Diego Chargers on Saturday signed defensive end Keith Grennan to the active roster from the practice squad.

To clear space on the 53-man roster, safety Tra Battle was released.

Grennan, an undrafted rookie signed in 2007 by the Chargers, has spent his entire career on the San Diego practice squad.
