NFL moves Redskins-Ravens to prime time
Nov 24, 2008 - 4:51 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The "Battle of the Beltway" will air in prime time.The December 7 matchup between the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens has been moved from 1 p.m. to 8:15 as part of the NFL's flexible scheduling to ensure the best available contest on its Sunday night telecasts.
Both Washington and host Baltimore are 7-4 and tied for second place in their respective divisions.
The switch of their game to prime knocked bumped the matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks from that slot to 4:15 p.m.
While the Patriots are one game out of first place in the AFC East, the Seahawks have staggered to a 2-9 record, including four straight defeats.
