Bills LB Ellison returns to practice

Nov 27, 2008 - 10:14 PM ORCHARD PARK, New York (Ticker) -- Buffalo Bills linebacker Keith Ellison returned to practice Thursday and likely will play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Ellison missed Wednesday's workout with an ankle injury but was feeling better a day later, according to Bills coach Dick Jauron.

Ellison, 24, has 47 tackles in 11 games this season for Buffalo (6-5).

Safety Donte Whitner, who has been sidelined for two of the past three games with a shoulder injury, practiced for the second straight day Thursday.
