Broncos sign S Jones, place DT Shaw on IR
Dec 4, 2008 - 12:34 AM ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (Ticker) -- The Denver Broncos on Wednesday signed safety Herana-Daze Jones and placed defensive tackle Josh Shaw on injured reserve.Jones appeared in three games with the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this season before being waived on November 4. He signed with Cincinnati in 2005 as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana.
Shaw injured his left elbow during Denver's 34-17 win at the New York Jets on Sunday. He made three tackles in five games for the Broncos this season.
