Raiders QB Russell leaves with leg injury
Dec 5, 2008 - 3:10 AM SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell was taken to the locker room on a cart after injuring his right ankle in the second quarter of Thursday's game against the San Diego Chargers.Russell, the first overall pick out of LSU in the 2007 draft, appeared to be in pain as he got on the cart and gingerly got off it as he moved into the Raiders' locker room.
Russell was 9-of-13 for 68 yards with two interceptions before leaving.
He was replaced by Andrew Walter in the second half.
