Eagles WR Curtis has concussion
Dec 8, 2008 - 8:18 PM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Kevin Curtis suffered a concussion in Sunday's game against the New York Giants.Eagles coach Andy Reid on Monday said it was too early to tell if Curtis will be able to play in next Monday night's home game against the Cleveland Browns.
"We're not going to practice again until Thursday, so we'll see how he recovers here by that time," Reid said.
Curtis had two receptions for 42 yards in the 20-14 win over the Giants that kept Philadelphia's playoff hopes alive.
After sitting out the first seven weeks while recovering from sports hernia surgery, Curtis has 28 receptions and one touchdown in seven games.
