Wallace to start at QB for Seahawks
Dec 14, 2008 - 5:39 PM ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- Matt Hasselbeck was listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams, giving Seneca Wallace his second straight start.Hasselbeck, who has been plagued by a persistent back injury, will miss his seventh game of the season.
Wallace was superb in place of Hasselbeck n last weekend's 24-21 loss to the New England Patriots, completing 20-of-28 passes for 208 yards and three touchdowns.
Hasselbeck, who has just one 200-yard game this season, has tossed just five scoring passes and 10 interceptions.
Seattle has lost six straight games and is tied with St. Louis at 2-11 at the bottom of the NFC West.
