Lions place Mulitalo, Dizon on IR
Dec 24, 2008 - 9:51 PM ALLEN PARK, Michigan (Ticker) -- The Detroit Lions on Wednesday placed guard Edwin Mulitalo and linebacker Jordon Dizon on season-ending injured reserve.Mulitalo started 11 games while Dizon, a rookie, appeared in 12 games for the Lions, who will looked to avoid becoming the only 0-16 team in league history in Sunday's season finale at Green Bay.
To fill their roster spots, the Lions signed guard Junius Coston and claimed wide receiver Chris Hannon off waivers from the Miami Dolphins.
