Cowboys QB Romo returns to practice
Dec 25, 2008 - 8:34 PM IRVING, Texas (Ticker) -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo returned to practice on Thursday, one day after being sent home with flu-like symptoms. The two-time Pro Bowler walked past reporters in the tunnel on the way to the field and said, "I'm feeling great. I feel like a hundred bucks," when asked of his condition.
Romo's status does not seem to be in question for Sunday's huge game against the Philadelphia Eagles (8-6-1). If the Cowboys (9-6) win, they clinch a wild card berth.
Romo missed three games earlier this season with a broken pinkie finger on his right hand and has been limited in recent weeks by a nagging back injury.
The 28-year-old Romo has passed for 3,265 yards and 26 touchdowns in 12 games this season.
However, he also has been prone to turnovers, throwing 13 interceptions and losing five fumbles.
No one has shouted yet.
