Bills put WR Hardy on injured reserve
Dec 28, 2008 - 12:47 AM ORCHARD PARK, New York (Ticker) -- The Buffalo Bills on Saturday put James Hardy on injured reserve, ending the rookie wide receiver's season prior to Sunday's season finale against the New England Patriots.Hardy tore the ACL in his left knee during a 31-27 loss to the New York Jets two weeks ago.
A second-round pick in April's draft, Hardy was a minimal contributor in his first season, pulling in nine receptions for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The Bills filled the vacant roster spot with running back Bruce Hall from the practice squad.
