Lions CB Fisher will walk back to Detroit if team wins
Dec 28, 2008 - 2:30 PM DETROIT (Ticker) -- Travis Fisher is ready to walk. The Detroit Lions cornerback said in a published report that he would walk from Green Bay, Wisconsin if his team notches its first win of the season on Sunday.
"If we win, man, I ain't catching the plane back home," Fisher told the Detroit Free Press. "I might walk. I'll walk back. I'll walk back to Detroit."
Now, let's keep in mind that Fisher suffered a concussion last Sunday in the Lions' 42-7 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Fisher, however, is willing to put his feet to work if the winless Lions (0-15) upset the Green Bay Packers (5-10).
"That's a guarantee. I'll walk back to Detroit," he told the newspaper.
