Dec 28, 2008 - 5:41 PM NEW ORLEANS (Ticker) -- New Orleans Saints running back Pierre Thomas is listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers due to back and wrist injuries.Thomas had scored a touchdown in six consecutive games since assuming the starting running back slot for New Orleans.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees needs 402 yards passing against the Panthers to break Dan Marino's NFL record of 5,084 in a season.
