Bills to decide Jauron's future Wednesday
Dec 30, 2008 - 12:50 AM BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- Buffalo Bills owner Ralph C. Wilson Jr. told the Buffalo News on Monday that he plans to make a decision on the future of head coach Dick Jauron later this week.Wilson said a decision is expected Wednesday.
According to the newspaper, Wilson met with Russ Brandon, the Bills' chief operating officer, Tom Modrak, the teams vice president of college scouting and treasurer Jeff Littmann.
"I have nothing definitive tonight to give you," Wilson told the Buffalo News by phone from Detroit. "We had a meeting today. We're going to have a meeting (Tuesday) and the next day, and then you'll have your answer."
Jauron reportedly agreed to a three-year extension in October. However, his job security has come into question after the Bills lost eight of their final 10 games and stumbled to a third straight 7-9 finish under Jauron.
