Eagles' Samuel misses practice, questionable for Sunday's game

Jan 2, 2009 - 11:58 PM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Eagles' defensive backfield could be missing a key player for its postseason tilt this weekend.

Cornerback Asante Samuel missed Friday's practice with a hip injury, leaving the Pro Bowler listed as questionable for Sunday's NFC wild-card round game with the Minnesota Vikings.

Running back Brian Westbrook and tight end L.J. Smith were limited in practice all week and also have been listed as questionable.

Westbrook, who has been battling knee and ankle injuries for the last few weeks, failed to score a touchdown in Philadelphia's final three games.

Tackle Jon Runyan (knee) has not practiced all week and also is questionable while safety Brian Dawkins is probable despite a back injury.

Donovan McNabb should have wide receivers Hank Baskett (knee) and Kevin Curtis (calf) at his disposal, as the duo practiced all week and are probable.
