Falcons DE Anderson misses practice, listed as questionable
Jan 2, 2009 - 11:58 PM TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Atlanta Falcons defensive end Jamaal Anderson missed Friday's practice due to an ankle injury and has been listed as questionable for Saturday's NFC wild card round playoff game with the Arizona Cardinals.Anderson, hampered by a high ankle sprain, did not participate in the Falcons' brief walk-through at Arizona State's Sun Devil Stadium.
The 6-6 Anderson had 27 tackles and two sacks this season for the Falcons (11-5), who will return to the postseason after a three-year absence.
Atlanta also listed defensive end John Abraham (thigh), left tackle Sam Baker (back), defensive tackle Grady Jackson (knee), linebacker Curtis Lofton (knee), safety Lawyer Milloy (back), wide receiver Harry Douglas (head) and fullback Ovie Mughelli (knee) as questionable.
