Colts starting G Pollak out vs. Chargers

Jan 3, 2009 - 2:49 AM INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Indianapolis Colts will be without starting right guard Mike Pollak for Saturday's AFC wild card game against the San Diego Chargers.

Pollak, hampered by an ankle injury, did not travel with the Colts to San Diego after missing Friday's practice.

Pollak likely will be replaced by Dan Federkeil, who started three games at right guard earlier this season.

Linebacker Gary Brackett also is out for the Colts (12-4). Indianapolis' defensive captain, Brackett missed the final four regular-season games with a broken bone in his right leg.
