Cardinals WR Boldin leaves game with injury

Jan 3, 2009 - 11:46 PM GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin left Saturday's NFC wild card playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons with a hamstring injury.

Boldin injured his left hamstring near the end of a 71-yard touchdown reception early in the second quarter.

The Pro Bowl wideout returned to play on the next drive with what initially was called a cramp, but he later left the game. His return is questionable.

Boldin had missed the last two regular-season games for Arizona with a shoulder injury but said there was no way he would miss an opportunity to play in the first postseason contest of his career.

Despite finishing two games earlier in the season with a concussion and facial fractures, Boldin finished second on the team with 89 catches for 1,038 yards and 11 touchdowns.
