Vikings DT Pat Williams inactive

Jan 4, 2009 - 9:28 PM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Minnesota Vikings will be without half of its starting defensive line for Sunday's NFC wild-card round playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mammoth tackle Pat Williams and end Ray Edwards are inactive for the game.

Williams has yet to recover from a broken scapula while Edwards, who has a knee injury, already had been ruled out of the contest.

Williams has formed one of the league's top tackle tandems with Kevin Williams, helping Minnesota lead the league in rushing defense at 76.9 yards per game.
