Patriots' Brady marries supermodel Bundchen
Feb 27, 2009 - 1:39 PM SANTA MONICA, California (Ticker) -- The signing of a player wasn't the biggest move as NFL free agency opened on Friday.Hours before free-agency started, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took himself off the market, marrying supermodel Gisele Bundchen on Thursday at the St. Monica Catholic Church, according to Usmagazine.com.
The ceremony -- which began at dusk -- was "very small and intimate," according to the report. Guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady's son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.
The Brazilian-born supermodel, 28, has been dating the New England Patriots quarterback, 31, since 2006.
Brady missed most of last season after injuring his knee in the Patriots' season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.
