Predators re-sign forward Joel Ward
Jul 1, 2009 - 9:08 PM NASHVILLE, Tenn.(AP) -- The Nashville Predators have re-signed forward Joel Ward to a two-year, $3 million contract.The Predators announced the deal on Wednesday.
Ward, 28, posted 35 points on 17 goals and 18 assists in 79 games with Nashville in 2008-09, his first full NHL season. He finished the year tied for fourth on the club in goals scored.
Ward formerly played for the Minnesota Wild.
