Stars put C Steve Ott on IR with oblique injury
Oct 16, 2009 - 9:33 PM DALLAS(AP) -- The Dallas Stars have placed center Steve Ott on injured reserve with a rib cage muscle injury.The move Friday came five days after Ott injured an oblique muscle against Vancouver. He has one assist and nine penalty minutes in four games this year.
Ott will miss his second game Friday night against Boston.
To replace Ott, Dallas recalled center Aaron Gagnon from the Texas Stars of the AHL. Gagnon has a goal and eight penalty minutes in five games with the new team in Austin suburb of Cedar Park, Texas.
