Thrashers recall C Krog from AHL Chicago
Oct 27, 2009 - 3:27 PM ATLANTA(AP) -- The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled center Jason Krog from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.The team looks to add depth Tuesday, one day after announcing Ilya Kovalchuk would be sidelined for about a month with broken bone in his right foot.
The 34-year-old Krog had four points in 14 games with the Thrashers in the 2006-07 season and has played with four other NHL teams.
Krog had one goal and six assists in eight games with the Wolves.
Kovalchuk, the Thrashers' captain and one of the league's top scorers, is expected to miss three to five weeks.
No one has shouted yet.
