Maple Leafs D Komisarek leaves game with injury

Nov 11, 2009 - 1:31 AM TORONTO(AP) -- Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Mike Komisarek has left the game against the Minnesota Wild because of a lower body injury.

It is unclear when he was injured Tuesday night.

Komisarek took six shifts and played 2 minutes, 47 seconds in the first period but didn't return to the bench for the second period.

Komisarek is in his first season with the Maple Leafs after signing a five-year, $22.5-million deal.
