Hurricanes send Rodney to minors

Nov 20, 2009 - 11:35 PM RALEIGH, N.C.(AP) -- The Carolina Hurricanes sent defenseman Bryan Rodney back to their AHL affiliate in Albany.

The team made the move Friday after bringing him up Nov. 11.

Rodney had two assists in five games and averaged nearly 18 minutes of ice time during his first stint with the team this season.

The Hurricanes host Tampa Bay on Saturday.
