NEWARK, N.J.(AP) -- Scott Clemmensen made 26 saves to beat his former teammates, Michael Frolik scored twice and the Florida Panthers ended a four-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Friday night.
Jordan Leopold and Shawn Matthias also scored, and Nathan Horton and Stephen Weiss each had two assists to help Florida improve to 2-5-4 in its last 11 games.
Brian Rolston and Dean McAmmond scored for New Jersey. The Devils who had won four in a row and seven of their previous eight.
Clemmensen, Brodeur's backup for most of his career, faced the Devils for the first time. He saved the Devils last season when Brodeur went down with a biceps injury that required surgery. Clemmensen stepped in to win 25 games, a performance that earned him a free-agent contract with the Panthers.
Oilers 5, Blues 3=
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Gilbert Brule scored twice, Dustin Penner had a goal and three assists and Edmonton won its fifth straight road game.
Jeff Deslauriers made 30 saves for the Oilers. He has played all five games during the streak while Nikolai Khabibulin recovers from a back injury.
Sam Gagner and Shawn Horcoff also scored in the Oilers' four-goal third.
David Backes scored twice and T.J. Oshie added a goal for the Blues.
Stars 3, Sharks 2, SO=
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Matt Niskanen scored in the 11th round of the shootout and Dallas overcame a stellar performance by San Jose goalie Evgeni Nabokov to hand the Sharks their fourth straight loss.
Nabokov had stopped the previous eight chances by Dallas after making 42 saves before the shootout. Mike Ribeiro and Brad Richards scored in regulation for Dallas, and Dany Heatley and Rob Blake countered for San Jose.
Red Wings 3, Ducks 2, OT=
DETROIT (AP) - Todd Bertuzzi tied it midway through the third period and scored a power-play goal 1:07 into overtime to give Detroit a comeback victory.
Tomas Holmstrom also scored, and Jimmy Howard stopped 25 shots for Detroit.
Saku Koivu and Dan Sexton each had a goal and an assist for Anaheim. The Ducks have lost nine straight on the road.
Wild 2, Flames 1, OT=
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - Martin Havlat scored at 3:15 of overtime for Minnesota, taking a cross-ice pass from Marek Zidlicky and beating Miikka Kiprusoff.
James Sheppard also scored, and Niklas Backstrom made 22 saves for Minnesota. The Wild have won two in a row and seven of their past eight games to improve to 15-13-3.
Aaron Johnson scored for Calgary. Kiprusoff stopped 44 of 46 shots he faced to help the Flames earn a point.
Capitals 4, Hurricanes 3, OT=
WASHINGTON (AP) - Alexander Semin scored two goals, and Mike Green connected with 3:44 left in overtime in NHL-leading Washington's comeback victory.
Tomas Fleischmann also scored for the Capitals. Tim Gleason, Jiri Tlusty and Eric Staal also scored for Carolina, 1-12-3 on the road.
Avalanche 2, Lightning 1, SO=
DENVER (AP) - Wojtek Wolski scored the only goal in a shootout, and Colorado goalie Craig Anderson stopped all three Tampa Bay shots.
Wolski had the Avalanche's only regulation goal, and Anderson made 21 saves to help Colorado snap a three-game home losing streak. Steve Downie scored for Tampa Bay.
Sabres 2, Blackhawks 1=
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Patrick Lalime made 39 saves in his third start of the season, and Thomas Vanek and Clarke MacArthur scored for Buffalo.
Patrick Sharp scored for Chicago.
