Stars activate LW Morrow

Mar 16, 2007 - 5:50 PM FRISCO, Texas (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars will get their captain back.

Left wing Brenden Morrow was activated from the injured reserve list by Dallas on Friday. Morrow missed 33 games after sustaining severed tendons in his right wrist in a December 26 contest at Chicago.

In September, Morrow, 27, was signed to a six-year contract extension through the 2012-13 campaign. He has 10 goals and 10 assists in 28 games this season, his seventh with the Stars.

A first-round pick in 1997, Morrow has 130 goals and 159 assists in 479 games with the Stars.

Last season, Morrow sets career highs in points (65) and assists (42).
