Coyotes sign Ebbett, re-sign Lepisto, Montoya
Jul 2, 2010 - 10:26 PM PHOENIX(AP) -- The Phoenix Coyotes re-signed defenseman Sami Lepisto and goaltender Al Montoya to one-year contracts Friday and also signed free-agent center Andrew Ebbett to a one-year deal.Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
The 25-year-old Lepisto had one goal and 10 assists in 66 games last season, his first with the Coyotes.
The 25-year-old Montoya had a 3-1-0 record and 2.08 goals-against average in five games with Phoenix in 2008-09. He spent all of last season with the Coyotes' AHL affiliate in San Antonio but injuries limited him to 14 games.
The 27-year-old Ebbett played last season for Anaheim, Chicago and Minnesota and had a combined nine goals and six assists in 61 games.
