Bruins sign D Stuart to 1-year deal
Jul 9, 2010 - 2:18 PM BOSTON(AP) -- The Boston Bruins have re-signed defenseman Mark Stuart to a one-year contract.Stuart had two goals and five assists in 56 games for the Bruins last year before being sidelined by a broken left pinky finger that later became infected. He had career highs of five goals and 12 assists in the previous season when he played in all 82 regular-season games.
The 26-year-old Stuart was the team's first-round draft pick, 21st overall, in the 2003 draft.
The team did not disclose terms of the deal.
