Coyotes re-sign LW Picard to 1-year contract
Jul 27, 2010 - 12:50 AM GLENDALE, Ariz.(AP) -- The Phoenix Coyotes have re-signed left winger Alexandre Picard to a one-year contract.Terms of the deal were not released Monday.
The 24-year-old Picard was acquired in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 3 and sent to Phoenix's San Antonio AHL affiliate, where he had nine goals and six assists in 16 games.
Picard was taken in the first round of the 2004 draft by Columbus. He had no goals, two assists and 58 penalty minutes in 67 games with the Blue Jackets.
