Kowalsky, Dean to coach Devils minor league teams
Aug 10, 2010 - 5:07 PM NEWARK, N.J.(AP) -- The New Jersey Devils have filled out the coaching staffs of their minor league teams in Albany, N.Y. and Trenton.Trenton coach Rick Kowalsky has been promoted and will be the head coach of the Albany Devils of the AHL. He will be assisted by Tommy Albelin, who was on Jacques Lemaire's staff with the Devils last season.
Kevin Dean will replace Kowalsky as the coach of the ECHL's Trenton Devils. Vince Williams will remain an assistant with Trenton.
The announcements were made by Chris Lamoriello, who is the general manager of both the Albany and Trenton teams.
