Blackhawks' Shaw suspended three games

Apr 17, 2012 - 6:59 PM New York, NY (Sports Network) - Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw has been suspended three games for charging into Phoenix Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith during Game 2 of the teams' Western Conference quarterfinal series.

Shaw was given a major penalty for charging and a game misconduct for the incident, which occurred at 7:11 of the second period.

The 20-year-old Shaw scored 12 goals and registered 23 points in 37 games for Chicago during the regular season.
