National Hockey League Playoff Game Capsules
May 17, 2012 - 3:34 AM New York, NY (Sports Network) - Martin Brodeur made 23 saves and David Clarkson scored the winner early in the third period as the New Jersey Devils took a 3-2 win over the New York Rangers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Ryan Carter and Ilya Kovalchuk also tallied for the Devils, who evened this series at a game each after getting blanked in the opener on Monday. Marc Staal and Chris Kreider had the goals for the Rangers, who got 24 saves from Henrik Lundqvist in the loss. The series switches to Newark as the next two contests will be played at Prudential Center. Game 3 is set for Saturday afternoon.No one has shouted yet.
