Flyers give Rinaldo, Rosehill two-year extensions
Apr 17, 2013 - 10:17 PM Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Flyers announced two- year contract extensions with forwards Zac Rinaldo and Jay Rosehill on Wednesday.Rinaldo totaled three goals and five points with 85 penalty minutes in 32 games for the club this season, but hasn't played since April 3 due to a high left ankle sprain.
In 98 NHL games over the last two years, the 22-year-old native of the Toronto area has compiled five goals, 14 points and 317 PIM.
Rosehill was acquired from Anaheim on April 1, picking up one goal and 47 PIM in seven appearances for Philadelphia.
A former seventh-round pick of Tampa Bay in 2003, Rosehill has three goals and six assists along with 245 minutes in penalties over 79 NHL contests.
