Predators' Rinne out 4 months after hip surgery
May 9, 2013 - 9:07 PM Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne recently underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his hip, with recovery time expected to be four months.Rinne, who had surgery on Monday, finished with more losses than victories for the first time in his career this past season, compiling a 15-16-8 record with five shutouts, a 2.43 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage.
The 30-year-old Finn had been a finalist for the Vezina Trophy in each of the past two years.
