Kings' Richards returns for Game 5
Jun 9, 2013 - 12:21 AM Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - On the brink of elimination, the Los Angeles Kings will have one of their key players return to action.Mike Richards, who has missed the last three contests in this Western Conference final against the Chicago Blackhawks due to a suspected concussion, will return for Saturday's Game 5.
Richards was the recipient of a big hit by Chicago's Dave Bolland behind the Blackhawks' net with 1:52 left in the third period of LA's 2-1 setback in Game 1.
He was present for morning practice as well as the pre-game warmups, then was a late insertion into the lineup.
Chicago holds a 3-1 series edge over the defending champions, and can advance to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second time in the last four seasons with a victory.
Also in the Kings lineup will be forward Jordan Nolan, with forwards Brad Richards and Kyle Clifford removed from the lineup.
