Kane has successful foot surgery
Jun 13, 2013 - 5:31 PM Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane underwent successful surgery to address a nerve problem in his left foot.The Free Press reported on Friday that the procedure was performed some time earlier this week in Manitoba's capital, and that recovery time will be 4-to-6 weeks.
Kane, who totaled 17 goals and 33 points in 48 games during the truncated 2013 schedule, also has a wrist issue which may require him to go under the knife.
