Sabres, D Paetsch agree to terms on three-year deal
Jul 31, 2007 - 3:51 PM BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- The Buffalo Sabres avoided salary arbitration with Nathan Paetsch on Tuesday, agreeing to terms with the defenseman on a three-year contract.Financial terms were not disclosed. A restricted free agent, Paetsch was scheduled for an arbitration hearing on Thursday.
Paetsch, 24, appeared in 63 regular-season games with the Sabres this past campaign, recording two goals, 22 assists and a plus-minus rating of plus-10.
A native of LeRoy, Saskatchewan, the 6-foot Paetsch was Buffalo's seventh-round draft selection in 2003.
