Robidas breaks leg in Game 3
Apr 22, 2014 - 4:07 AM Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Anaheim Ducks defenseman Stephane Robidas suffered a fracture in his right leg in the second period of Monday's game against the Dallas Stars. The injury occurred in the first minute of the second period of Game 3 of this Western Conference quarterfinal set after a collision with the Stars' Ryan Garbutt. Robidas was on the ice for several minutes before being helped off.
No penalty was assessed on the play.
The Ducks later said that the fracture was above a previous fracture he suffered last November, while he was then playing for the Stars. That injury kept him off the ice for almost four months, and he was traded to Anaheim by Dallas during his recovery.
