Sharks' Couture has surgery
Jun 10, 2014 - 9:54 PM San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture had surgery to repair a hand injury.San Jose general manager Doug Wilson said that Couture suffered the injury in Game 6 of the team's series loss to the Los Angeles Kings in the opening round of the playoffs.
The injury occurred during a fight with Los Angeles forward Mike Richards.
Wilson went on to say that Couture is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Couture, 25, just completed his fifth season with the Sharks. He posted 23 goals and 31 assists in 65 games during the regular season, and added a goal and two assists in the postseason.
